Goddess of the Holy Tablet
Dancers: Hanyu , Emilia Ramirez, Yibing Yang, Artemis Yang
Music: La Campanella
Our
dance focuses on expressing the power of women. The story is about a
village that is invaded but gains peace and freedom with the help of a
goddess. We refer to the worship of the Greek goddess Terpsichore, the
goddess of dance. Thus, in our dance three women perform a ritual of
gratitude to the goddess expressing how women help each other under her
protection.
